Our Backstory & Owner

 I established Cedar Shores Floral in 2021 during my education at BYU-Idaho. At the time I was working as a Teacher's Assistant for the Floral Design Program, but wanted to work with flowers more often. Over the past three years, I have had so many wonderful opportunities and have come to deeply love this industry.

Named after the Washington neighborhood where I grew up, Cedar Shores Floral is more than just a floral business; it's a tribute to the community that shaped my passion for beauty, nature, and family. 

This year I received my Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture along with a Floral Design Certificate from Brigham Young University-Idaho. My floral design education has helped open my eyes up to the many aspects of the industry and given me the creative techniques needed to create beautiful wedding flowers. 

To further my floral design education and knowledge I recently participated in the Professional Floral Design Evaluation through the American Institute of Floral Designers and was awarded the designation of Certified Floral Designer.

•  I am a huge bookworm and would love to have a home library with a "Beauty & The Beast" sliding ladder. 

•  I have been married to my amazing husband for two years and have loved every minute! Fun fact: I did all of my own wedding flowers, and yes it was super crazy. 

• I am a mama to a sweet little boy!

• Fresh-picked blackberries are one of my favorite things in the whole world.
